Privacy

The SlowLight app doesn't collect your data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The app doesn't send anything about you to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your phone
To remember your choices from night to night, SlowLight saves a few settings on your iPhone only:
- Your glow, session length, sound and volume.
- Your breathing pace, if you measure it.
- How many sessions you've finished and when the last one was, so the app knows when it's a good time to ask for a rating.
These never leave your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
The free trial and the unlock are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to those purchases.
Ratings
SlowLight may ask you to rate it using Apple's standard rating prompt. Any rating or review you leave goes to Apple and the App Store.
This website
If you sign up for a beta invite, we collect your email address. We use it to send your invite and news about SlowLight's launch, nothing else. We don't sell or share it. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, or you can write to us and we'll delete it.
Your email is stored with Kit (kit.com), the service that sends our emails, along with which page you signed up on and, if you answer it, when you need SlowLight most.
To learn which pages help people, the website counts visits with Umami (umami.is). It uses no cookies, doesn't store your IP address and can't identify you. It sees only things like the page you opened, the site that sent you, your country and your type of device.
Children
SlowLight isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
